The Panchet Dam is located in the Purulia district, known for its breathtaking scenery perfectly surrounded by lush green paddy fields and tranquil rivers. By Car:
It takes around 1hr 25min depending on the chosen route and traffic conditions. We can also enjoy beautiful glimpses of the Damodar River with scenic landscapes.
By Train:
It is a budget-friendly option, but it takes longer as the travel time can take up to 3 to 4 hours. There are several trains connecting Durgapur and Asansol which is the nearest railway station to Panchet.
